Beyond the Score: Equipping School Boards to Use Data for Informed Decision-Making

This hands-on workshop equips board members to interpret Wisconsin’s school and district data using WISEdash Public and the State Report Cards. Participants will explore key indicators—achievement, growth, attendance and more—through live demos and guided activities. We’ll also unpack DPI’s new standard-setting process and changes to rating categories. By session’s end, board members will better understand how report card data is determined, how to avoid common pitfalls, and how to use data to support informed governance, goal setting and advocacy.
